On January 18, 2024, in Ukraine, the wind is expected to be southeast, transitioning to southwest at a speed of 7-12 m/s, with gusts reaching 15-20 m/s, and at night in the Carpathians, locally reaching 25 m/s.
Cloudy. At night in the western, northern, Vinnytsia, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions, there will be moderate snow, while in Zakarpattia and parts of the Precarpathians, there will be significant wet snow with rain, and in some places, freezing rain. During the day, there will be rain throughout Ukraine, with wet snow in the northeast, and significant rains in Zakarpattia. Icy conditions are expected on the roads, except in the far south.
The temperature in the western and southern parts at night will range from 1°C above zero to 4°C below freezing, during the day 4-9°C above zero, and in Crimea up to 12°C above zero. In the rest of the territory, temperatures at night will range from 5-10°C below freezing, during the day 1-6°C above zero, and in the northeast at night from 12-17°C below freezing, around 0°C during the day.
In the Carpathians, there will be significant snowfall and wet snow, accompanied by a blizzard; temperatures at night will be between 1-6°C below freezing, and during the day from 2°C below freezing to 3°C above zero.
