On January 8, 2024, in Ukraine, there will be a north-east wind at a speed of 7-12 m/s. In most western, northern, and southern regions, gusts of wind up to 15-20 m/s are expected, causing icy conditions on the roads. It will be cloudy.
In the southern part of the country, there will be moderate rain changing to wet snow, with significant precipitation in some areas; icy conditions and accumulation of wet snow are anticipated. The temperature at night and during the day will range from 4°C above zero to 1°C below zero, and in Crimea, it will be 7-12°C above zero during the day.
In the northern, Volyn, and Rivne regions, there will be light snow in some places; temperatures at night will be between 11-16°C, and during the day, it will be 8-13°C below zero (in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, temperatures at night will range from 15-20°C, and during the day, it will be 10-15°C below zero).
The rest of the territory will experience challenging weather conditions: moderate snow, significant snowfall in central and eastern regions, blizzard, and wind gusts of 15-20 m/s. The temperature at night and during the day will be 5-10°C below zero.
