On January 1, 2024, Ukraine is expected to experience a southern wind with a speed of 5-10 m/s, with possible gusts in the Carpathians reaching 15-20 m/s. Against the backdrop of clouds and clearings, various meteorological scenarios are observed in different regions of the country.
In western regions, as well as in northern and Vinnytsia region, moderate rain is forecasted during the day. In Zakarpattia and the Carpathians, significant precipitation is expected in the form of rain and wet snow, while in other parts of the country, no precipitation is anticipated. In central and southern regions, fog may occur in some places during the night and morning.
The temperature regime on this day varies from 3 degrees Celsius above zero to 2 degrees Celsius below zero at night, and from 2 to 7 degrees Celsius during the day. In the southern part of the country, warmer weather is expected with temperatures ranging from 6 to 11 degrees Celsius.
