Renaming metro stations - the city of Kyiv

The head of the Kyiv metro Viktor Brahinsky proposed to change the names of 5 metro stations - "Minsk", "Heroes of the Dnieper", "Brest", "Friendship of Peoples" and "Leo Tolstoy Square".

This initiative has found widespread support. There are many options on social media.

An online poll has been launched, which can be held until May 15 and offer its name. After that, all options will be worked out and a stationary vote for the final name will be held. The profile commission on renaming will also make its conclusion. The draft decision will then be submitted to the session hall.
