Basic rules of conduct during low temperatures

- Don't wear tight clothing and shoes as it reduces blood circulation and leads to quick freezing.
- Keep moving, as movement in the cold enhances blood circulation and helps warm up the body.
- Consume more warm fluids, which aids better thermoregulation of the body.
- If your clothes get wet in the cold, change into dry ones quickly.
- Avoid consuming beverages containing alcohol and caffeine.
- Cover areas of the body most prone to frostbite - fingers, ears, and nose.
